Started flying C/L in Middlesex, NJ with the Middlesex Modelers. I was still in elementary school. Flew combat and stunt with a little carrier. I started flight training in the early 70’s in Manville NJ. Got my a private pilot license in the early 80’s. During those years I started flying R/C.
My first model was a Phil Kraft Jenson Ugly Stik with an Orbit Radio and Weber 61 Black Head. Flew with Mr. Shulman in Edison NJ and at various fields in the central part of the state. After I moved to Florida I start full scale flying again and R/C with the Rocket City R/C Club then R/C World in Orlando FL. Now I am a flight instructor and Chief Ground instructor in Orlando for the last 12 years.
