I'm 79 years old and moved to Florida about 50 years ago. Came from California after a brief career in the motion picture industry. Graduated from San Diego State in 1970. Was recruited by a boat manufacturer here in Orlando. Was fortunate to fly around the US in a private plane calling on customers. One of those return flights home found an article on RC airplanes in a random magazine. Started in control line and graduated to RC with a Falcon 56. The rest as they say is history.
Started building and fell in love with Scale. Currently have a 89 inch P-47, a 107 inch Super Decathlon, a 96 inch Panic biplane form England, a 105 inch Super Cub on floats. I prefer gas. I'm very old school. If it's not belching smoke and making lots of noise, not really interested. Having said that, I also have a new Draco, small 450 heli and a Raptor 50 heli.
