Antonio Counsil was nominated by his friend Jayden Xu. Jayden shared the following about Antonio and his support:
"I am a 8 years old boy. Airplane has been my dream since I was 10 months. My mom told me the first word I said is Airplane!
At the first day of my RC SCCMAS club life, Antonio helped me get started—we truly appreciate it. Honestly, without his help, we probably would have given up.
After spending half the day trying to find the field, we finally made it there on foot after a 40-minute walk. My mom and I thought there was no way I would get to fly my new plane that day, but Antonio was so kind—he even offered to teach me. I was beyond excited.
He was incredibly patient with me, and even drove us to pick up my plane.
We’re so grateful for his kindness—it really meant a lot to me.
That day turned out to be a perfect day for me. Seeing my plane take off—and fly so well—made me so happy. It was beyond anything I expected.
He truly made my day and helped turn my dream into reality."
