Jeannie DeMauro was nominated by her husband, William DeMauro. William shared the following sentiment about Jeannie and her support:
"Jeannie attends every local and National contest that I attend. She prepares food and drink and makes sure I stay hydrated and fed.
She helps carry my equipment and chairs to and from the car and helps me set up. She will then video or photograph my flights so I can analyze my flights and improve. She also helps with running scores at both the Nats and local contests and is always ready to help out others too. She has written articles for Stunt News and has had many pictures published in Model Aviation Magazine. She has a photo that she took on the official PAMPA Banner which is displayed at all PAMPA Events. She also appeared in an AMA promotional video a few years ago where she talked about her job of as my helper. This video can be found on YouTube. Please consider her for Copilot of the Year."
